How We Embrace Your Superpowers

One of our ongoing goals is to build an incredible workplace where top talent thrives. Our Chief People Officer, Linda Aiello, is at the forefront of shaping our dynamic culture. With a career spanning luxury retail, tech, and now, sports entertainment, Linda brings a global perspective to how we work, grow, and create impact.

When the opportunity to become the next Chief People Officer here at DraftKings became available last May, Linda said she was empowered to take the call. For Linda, working in the sports entertainment world is an ode to her late father. He was an award-winning TV sports producer and growing up, she would travel with him to some of the biggest sporting events and broadcasts.

“This felt like the next opportunity to think about how the future of sports entertainment would be, and I get to be a part of that. So I kind of couldn't pass up the chance,” Linda said. Like her Dad, Linda was ready for the challenge of transforming the sports landscape.

Linda is a big believer in identifying and harnessing superpowers—those unique strengths that set each person apart. Forget trying to fit into a mold. We want you to shine in your own way.

“Too many companies focus on weaknesses,” she said. “We focus on what makes you exceptional and build your career around that.”

Whether you’re an analytical thinker, a creative strategist, or a problem-solver, DraftKings helps you maximize what you do best. That’s how careers grow—not just vertically, but in directions that truly align with individual strengths.

One thing is clear: we set the bar high. We solve complex challenges every day, but we do it with a deep respect for our people. Collaboration is at the heart of what we do. Our work is built on relationships—when you need answers teammates are there for guidance. That’s what makes our culture stand out, even as we scale past 5,000 team members globally.

We asked Linda about her thoughts on the hottest workplace conversation today: should teammates work remotely, hybrid, or in-office full-time?

Linda believes that one-size-fits-all doesn’t work when it comes to how people thrive.

“There are different moments when different formats suit,” Linda said. “It's interesting because there are a lot of organizations that are pushing everyone to come back in, but they're not thinking about how people are using their time.”

She says instead of forcing a rigid model, we use data to ensure engagement and productivity stay high across all work formats. Our ultimate goal is to create an environment where teammates do their best work—wherever that may be.

If you live close enough to one of our offices, you’ll immediately feel the energy. Each space is designed to reflect the excitement of sports and gaming, with unique local touches in every city. Most importantly, you’ll feel like you belong.

So, are you ready to take your career to the next level? The Crown Is Yours—ready to own what’s next? Check out our open positions.
