Our Teams
Jessica’s Journey at Jackpocket

When Jessica walked through the doors of our Newburgh, New York Jackpocket fulfillment center for the first time, she had no idea she’d be leading a team just a few years later. She started as an Operations Associate - processing tickets, staying curious, and learning the ins and outs of the business. Today, she’s a Supervisor of Lottery Fulfillment at DraftKings, supporting our Jackpocket product, helping her team fulfill hundreds to thousands of orders a day.
A Day in the Life
Each day starts before the orders pour in. Jessica makes sure each teammate knows which lottery game orders they’ll be fulfilling that day. “I think it's exciting that every day is a little different,” Jessica said. “It’s cool to see how much volume we do in a day.”
That pace really picks up when the Mega Millions and Powerball jackpots hit their headline-making highs. Jessica says it’s fun when everyone is busy and working together to fulfill as many orders as possible before the time cutoff.
One of the best moments is when a customer hits big. “That’s a fun experience,” Jessica reflects, “When a big winner comes in, they are always so happy to receive their winning ticket.”
Growth at Jackpocket
Why does Jessica stay at Jackpocket? “It’s the people. Honestly, it’s like a family here,” Jessica said. She’s also experienced a lot of personal growth. In just three years, she’s been promoted twice.
Whether she’s helping a teammate catch up during a busy shift or celebrating a $1M winner, Jessica sees her role as more than just leadership. “If you work hard and you dedicate yourself, you can move up in the company,” Jessica said.
And for her next move? She’s got her eyes set on becoming a manager.
