When Ihor, Senior Software Engineering Manager, joined DraftKings in 2019, AI wasn't part of his day-to-day work. As a Platform Engineer at the time, he focused on building infrastructure that helped other engineers develop software more efficiently. Today, as a Senior Manager leading the AI Platform team, he's helping redefine how software is built across the company.

"DraftKings is currently going through a massive shift where we are applying AI to the entire development life cycle," Ihor said. 

That shift goes far beyond coding assistants. Ihor's team is building the platform that enables engineering teams to develop software differently. Their work shapes how AI is integrated into planning, development, testing, deployment, and operations across the company.
