AI is becoming an integral part of our present and future. It powers how work gets done, guides smarter decisions, and sparks bold ideas. It’s transforming how we enhance customer experiences, streamline operations, and unlock new possibilities.

We sat down with two teammates heavily involved in integrating AI into workflows across our business. Celeste, an AI Product Manager, and Jeff, Vice President of Engineering, unpack how we are scaling innovation with AI and what it means for the future of work.

“It’s been very cool to see the technology be a magnet for ideas,” Celeste said.

What started as late-night experiments quickly became something more. After a year of playing with generative AI on the side, Celeste made a bold move and shifted from the Product Design team to lead AI Product Management full-time.

“It just demonstrates that we are really looking to identify talent and embrace the technology,” Celeste added. “Not just for the immediate business goals, but I think also just to upskill our employee base for whatever is next.”

We're not waiting to catch up. From the start, our leadership team has encouraged everyone to think about how AI could enhance their work. From hackathons to Slack channels, ideas are being shared across teams, and everyone is encouraged to experiment.

In his ten years at DraftKings, Jeff has witnessed major shifts, but the pace and energy behind this AI-driven culture change stands out as one of the most transformative yet.

“I think at DraftKings, there's always sort of an appetite for more,” Jeff said. “There's so much that we can do. I think we're always trying to find new ways to get creative and deliver even more for our customers.”

We’ve created an environment for builders to continue to experiment to find solutions.

Jeff says he’s focused on removing barriers and getting the latest and greatest tech into the hands of our engineers. He's rolling out tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, ChatGPT, and n8n, and will continue to push for whatever comes out next.

We are looking for curious minds who are ready to experiment and build to help make our workflows more efficient and impactful.

Whether you’re technical or not, if you’re energized by innovation and driven to constantly be learning, this could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for. Apply to our open roles today.
