The Crown Is Yours
As an Analyst I on the Customer Economics team, you’ll help shape the future of customer insights and marketing optimization by building models that forecast behavior and drive smarter decision-making. The Customer Economics team sits within the Marketing Analytics organization, powering acquisition-cost models and valuation frameworks that underpin how DraftKings invests in growth. You’ll dive into data to uncover patterns, steer revenue-driving strategies, and help cross-functional teams bring our models to life. From optimizing promotional impact to guiding retention strategies, you’ll play a pivotal role in making our customer experience more intelligent, predictive, and durable.
What you'll do as an Analyst I, Customer Economics
- Build and deploy predictive models that forecast customer behavior and drive revenue outcomes.
- Translate complex model outputs into scalable solutions that teams across DraftKings can activate.
- Lead deep-dive analyses and cross-functional partnerships with Marketing, Finance, etc. to turn insights into action across the business.
- Use data and industry insights to uncover growth opportunities and elevate our modeling strategy.
- Create automated tools, analyses, and dashboards that measure and communicate customer performance.
- Analyze customer retention and gameplay trends to inform marketing investments and vertical strategies.
- Partner with Data Science and Data Engineering to apply best-in-class practices using tools like Databricks, Airflow, and Bitbucket.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or another relevant discipline.
- At least 1 year of experience in business analytics or data science.
- Exposure to data science principles, including machine learning, regression techniques, and model evaluation. Familiarity with tools like Databricks, Airflow, and Bitbucket is a plus.
- Ability to leverage AI tools to turn our data into actionable recommendations with repeatable frameworks
- Practical experience with SQL/Snowflake and dashboarding tools. Python/R experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with marketing concepts and measurement frameworks is a plus.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is 65,300.00 USD - 81,600.00 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
