What you’ll do

- Partner with Talent Acquisition Operations, People Operations, business analysts, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into clear technical requirements and Workday solutions.
- Serve as an internal Workday subject matter expert, troubleshooting day-to-day issues and providing technical guidance across HCM, Recruiting, Payroll, Time and Attendance, and Scheduler.
- Review vendor-built configurations and solutions, guide technical design decisions, and advise stakeholders on Workday capabilities, limitations, and best practices.
- Lead the Workday Empowerment Program, developing training that expands Workday knowledge across Talent Acquisition Operations and People Operations while managing elevated user permissions and access as needed.
- Track, analyze, and communicate Workday performance metrics, delivery progress, risks, and opportunities for improvement to stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Partner with Compliance, Information Technology, and auditors to support Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, maintain control evidence, and complete required audits.
What you’ll bring
- At least 5 years of hands-on Workday experience, with deep knowledge of HCM, Recruiting, Payroll, Time and Attendance, and Scheduler.
- Workday HCM and Recruiting certifications are preferred.
- Proven experience managing vendor or contractor relationships, including prioritizing work, monitoring delivery, managing budgets, and maintaining quality standards.
- Strong technical knowledge of Workday configuration and business processes, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and guide technical design decisions.
- Experience building and delivering training programs or translating complex technical concepts into clear, practical guidance for different audiences.
- Strong analytical skills and experience using data and metrics to evaluate performance, identify opportunities, and communicate meaningful insights to leadership.
- Strong organization, prioritization, and program management skills, with the ability to manage vendor relationships, stakeholder requests, and technical work simultaneously.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and professional judgment, with the ability to navigate tradeoffs, influence across teams, and communicate effectively with senior leaders.
