VIP Team Lead

Lead the strategy behind the game. 

As a VIP Team Lead, you will oversee a team of VIP Hosts who cultivate relationships with DraftKings’ most highly engaged Players. This role will focus on reactivation, loyalty, and account management. You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day execution of DraftKings’ industry-leading VIP engagement strategies, understanding the actual needs of our players to foster long-term loyalty to DraftKings. What you’ll do as a VIP Team Lead:

  • Drive key VIP sales metrics, contributing to customer engagement, market share, and net revenue.

  • Provide coaching and feedback to improve performance and enable your team to achieve all established goals & business objectives.

  • Focus on multiple facets of the VIP lifecycle, including reactivation, account management, and loyalty integration.

  • Work closely with Analytics teams to monitor reinvestment programs, including comps and other earned or reward incentives.

  • Assist VIP leadership in developing and implementing sales training programs.

  • Participate in the escalation process, including working with clients and other internal departments to resolve client cases.

  • Execute the broad VIP strategy and implement new initiatives to optimize outcomes and accomplish goals.

  • Conduct regularly scheduled team and one-on-one meetings with your direct reports.

What you’ll bring:  

  • An extreme passion for improving the customer/player experience, solving problems, and driving positivity amongst the team.

  • Strong desire to teach and coach a team to deliver quality customer experience and consistent sales techniques.

  • Demonstrated success in identifying and implementing strategies that improve operational efficiency.

  • Knowledge and ability to increase revenues and control expenses.

  • Strong leadership skills and excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while effectively focusing on priority issues.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or related field 

  • Five years of related experience in the gaming, hospitality, sales, or marketing industry. 

  • At least three years of experience managing a sales and marketing team.

  • This position is remote except that it may not be performed in Colorado.
