VIP Marketing Specialist, CRM

DraftKings is looking for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced work environment and wants to grow within a tech-focused marketing team. The VIP team is responsible for marketing to our high-value customers across all three product verticals through various marketing channels (email, push notification, in-app messaging, and direct mail). 

As a Specialist on the VIP CRM Team, you will support daily operations of the VIP Channel for DraftKings across all product verticals. You will play a key role in ensuring all marketing communications adhere to best practices and deliver an exceptional customer experience, along with ensuring all required partners are aligned on promotional offers at any given point in time. What you’ll do as a CRM Specialist:

  • Setup and manage the performance of marketing campaigns across the Customer Retention & Monetization Team.

  • Support go-to-market strategy for new vertical state launches and key sports moments throughout the year.

  • Ensure there is alignment between CRM, Promos, and VIP on the monthly promotional calendar across all verticals

  • Work cross-functionally with a broad set of Analytics, Product, and Engineering partners to incorporate user preferences, A/B tests, and product enhancements into channel plans.

  • Identify and execute A/B tests to draw insights to up-sell users into products, retain high-value users, and grow VIP LTV

  • Measure, report, and analyze campaign performance and test results, sharing learnings cross-functionally.

  • Ensure fulfillment of all marketing campaigns and that they adhere to channel best practices.

  • Work closely with the Marketing Creative team to deliver innovative, best-in-class creative concepts and designs.

  • Write emails, push notifications, SMS, and more aligned to our marketing standards and brand guidelines.

 

  What you’ll bring:   

  • At least three years of relevant marketing experience, preferably in the eCommerce, technology, or gaming industries.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or related field.

  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to clearly communicate results and define the next steps.

  • Well organized and great attention to detail, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, often under challenging time constraints.

  • Be a data-driven and strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the Gaming industry.

  • Knowledge of SQL, Tableau and HTML is a plus.

  • A passion for sports with polished copywriting and oral communication skills.

  • Willing to work non-standard hours based on the sports calendar.

  • Proven experience as a self-starter who is comfortable in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment.
