DraftKings is growing rapidly and we are seeking a mixed-methods user researcher to empower the product, analytics, and design teams. You will use a mix of qualitative and quantitative research techniques to develop actionable insights, better understand our DraftKings users, and work with teams across the organization to enable the DraftKings product and design teams to create engaging user experiences. 

What you’ll do as a User Researcher:

  • Plan and conduct impactful user research to better understand our customers’ needs, behaviors, and goals, while informing product and business decisions

  • Focus on cutting edge experiences for our users

  • Be a trusted cross-functional partner to design, product, and engineering teams, executing actionable and timely research based on business needs and growth/innovation initiatives

  • Partner with product analytics to present cohesive qualitative and quantitative research insights and recommendations to stakeholders

  • Synthesize research results, make key recommendations, perform market analysis, and gather strategic intelligence to provide insights regarding the market, trends, pain points, and our customers needs.

  • Stay current with research techniques and tools in the field of User Experience in order to direct approaches for research projects and ensure the most effective and efficient methods are used

 What you’ll bring:

  • 2+ years of full-time experience as a researcher for digital products, B2C strongly preferred

  • Proficient  in a broad range of methodologies including contextual inquiry, interviews, usability testing, surveys, and card sorting exercises

  • Proven history of close work with Designers, Product Managers, and Engineers to prioritize research opportunities in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; comfortable communicating complex concepts clearly and persuasively to a variety of audiences within DraftKings

  • Experience with screening/recruiting participants and an appreciation for user research recruitment best practices

  • BS in Psychology, HCI, or related degree

This position can sit in either the Boston office or remote; however, this work is to be performed entirely outside of Colorado.
