We’re growing rapidly and are searching for a Technical Project Manager to serve as a leader within the Global IT team. When you join us, you will be heavily involved in new and existing initiatives that will have a material impact on what DraftKings is today and what we become tomorrow.  While helping to lead a talented team, you will serve as a liaison between the Product, Engineering, Technical Operations, Enterprise IT, and other external and internal groups.  Sound good to you? What you’ll do as a Technical Project Manager:

  • Perform all project management activities including documentation, preparation, contingency planning, status reporting, and results measurement.

  • Work cross-functionally with groups to identify dependencies, plan initiatives, and deliver on larger corporate goals.

  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements.

  • Coordinate activities between the project sponsors and technical staff.

  • Prepare risk assessments, mitigation strategies, and contingency planning.

  • Think creatively and analytically to unblock team members and improve your team’s effectiveness.

  • Work closely with key Stakeholders and Technology Leads to understand the business objectives and actual results of the work you are doing.

What you’ll bring:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Social Science, or Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant experience in technical project management.

  • Experience working in an Agile environment as a project manager or scrum master roles.

  • Experience using Agile Tools such as JIRA, and Confluence is a plus.

  • Knowledge of analytics, information design, and user experience is considered a plus.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP), and PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) is a plus.
