Sr. Director, Marketing Product Platform Organization

We are seeking a dynamic leader to drive the products that power our conversion funnel across DraftKings’ entire suite of consumer verticals. As the leader of our Marketing Product group, you will own the core of DraftKings’ marketing technology infrastructure: the shared capabilities that power both growth marketing and retention across our fantasy, gaming and marketplace products. This will start at the top of the funnel with our marketing technology platform and extend through the full customer lifecycle, driving growth vehicles like SEO and ads/attribution functionality while growing monetization through capabilities like loyalty, rewards, game mechanics and core social functionality. 

Working directly with our Product and Technology leadership teams, you will drive both vision and delivery, leading a team of product managers, UX/UI designers, analysts and project managers to make our marketing product suite a true cornerstone of our proprietary platform infrastructure. You will ensure we acquire, convert, and service customers across the entire suite of DraftKings products, building solutions that are simultaneously scalable and highly flexible for our rapidly diversifying consumer audiences. What you’ll do as a Vice President, Marketing Product Platform Organization:

  • Drive the creation, management, and evangelization of the product strategy and roadmap for our marketing platform software.

  • Own product team’s relationship with both U.S. sports fans and the U.S. igaming consumer, conceptualizing products based on data, user research, and competitive analysis that appeal to these audiences.

  • Build and scale a best-in-class suite of growth marketing capabilities, driving a vision around areas like SEO/content and ads & attribution to maximize growth team’s ability to efficiently acquire new customers at scale. 

  • Own DraftKings first-time user experience, ensuring customers have a flawless onboarding experience.

  • Own and continuously improve DraftKings’ full suite of monetization & rewards capabilities, building both features & tooling to optimize existing user LTV across all products.

  • Oversee growth of key retention-oriented functionality like loyalty and social platforms, scaling both to build a differentiated cross-product experience for our customers.

  • Build and maintain the analytical foundation of both existing product health and future-looking Marketing Product roadmap decisions; own all goals, KPIs and business metrics.

  • Ensure teams are constantly aligned to customer focus via best practices, data analysis, UX research, and appropriate solution validation.

  • Work directly with product leaders across each of DraftKings’ core consumer-facing verticals to build tools and services that support/enable their product roadmaps.

  • Serve as key partner for technology leadership in building enterprise-level services and products that can be leveraged by a broad range of user-facing clients.

  • Serve as the core product stakeholder for all key marketing relationships, working with senior marketing leaders.

  • Manage and grow an existing team of product managers, designers and researchers, overseeing their growth and development.

What you'll bring:

  • You have at least 10+ years of working experience within product management.

  • Deep understanding of best-in-class consumer marketing practices, stretching across both growth & retention marketing.

  • Strong technical knowledge of marketing technology; comfort giving direction directly to engineering teams & experience architecting solutions that span both in-house and third-party software.

  • Deep experience with integrated marketing technology stacks, with comfort across both internally built tools and third-party products.

  • Extensive management experience overseeing large product teams.

  • Natural collaboration skills that can build relationships across all levels of an organization.

  • Experience and expertise in high-level product strategy and an ability to devise generic, extensible solutions capable of meeting the needs of diverse product verticals.

  • Ability to translate data and financial metrics into tangible recommendations.

  • Willingness for occasional travel to your people that are located across multiple offices.
