Software Engineering Manager

What is our product and technical challenge?

Our product is a Retail sports betting solution which consists of:

  • powerful data streaming/replication platform for thousands of betting terminals

  • responsive customer facing application built on React JS

  • rich monitoring and remote management tools for a wide terminals network working 24/7

  • extensive back office solution

What is our tech stack?

We are widely using .NET Core and microservices approach.

From the code perspective, we are mixing C#/OOP (for IO bound operations, infrastructure, API controllers) with F#/FP (Domain logic, Tests). We keep our functional code comprehensible to C# developers and we’ll help you to learn FP and distributed systems design.

For concurrency we are using actor model based on TPL DataFlow and System.Threading.Channels.

Our data streaming/replication platform is based on Kafka, Redis, MQTT and stateful/stateless F# services. The API is based on  ASP.NET  Core. For data storage we use classic PostgreSQL, Redis and we’re also developing our very fast in-memory store (faster than Redis) to handle big volume of CRUD operations on low hardware devices/terminals.
