The Senior Product Designer will partner deeply with a cross functional group of Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers, and Analysts to lead the development of products and features from concept through execution. 

About DraftKings Platform Design Group

The Platform Design group supports both consumer and operator user experiences across the entire DraftKings ecosystem. Platform designers are responsible for the core features and functions that are foundational across each DK product including Login, Registration, Deposit, Withdrawal, Loyalty and Rewards. Designers within the platform group are encouraged to be strong advocates for the DraftKings user, reducing friction and delivering delight through our core customer journeys. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO AS A SENIOR PRODUCT DESIGNER:

  • Help us build and iterate on best-in-class products.

  • Champion design decisions with qualified rationale including research and data.

  • Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers and Analysts to oversee and evolve the user experience of our product 

  • Sketch, prototype, brainstorm, and build design artifacts that help to inform and communicate product and experience requirements.

  • Work in deep collaboration with product managers and engineers to build rich, usable experiences.

  • Challenge assumptions and advocate for the user.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Roughly 5-7 years designing and shipping web and native mobile applications, including visual and interaction design as well as creating interactive prototypes.

  • You are an integrator who knows when to push boundaries, and when to work within constraints to envision, design, test and deliver cutting edge features within the DraftKings ecosystem.

  • A strategic thinker. You think about not just how things work, but what we should be building and why.

  • Able to lead the process of designing complex transactional interfaces.

  • Proficient in design thinking, agile processes and sprint planning.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Portfolio of work demonstrating experience with interactive design across a variety of screens and transactional models.

  • Experience collaborating with User Research and Analytics teams to make informed, data driven design decisions

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $110,400.00 - $165,600.00, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
