Senior Manager, AML Investigations

As the AML Operations Senior Manager, you will lead the DraftKings AML Operations program, investigations, reporting, and day-to-day to ensure industry-leading performance and compliance with all regulations. In this role, you will be the accountable party for the growth and oversight of the AML Investigations program. This includes but is not limited to investigations, workflows, quality assurance, regulatory reporting, escalations, and associate development.  Sound good to you? Join us. 

What you’ll do as a Senior Manager, AML Operations:

  • Develop and manage Associates within the AML program.

  • Lead and be accountable for procedural enhancements and analytic tools used by the team and provide detailed reporting for senior leadership.

  • Act as the point of contact for escalations from AML specialists and AML managers, business partners, stakeholders, and third parties.

  • Continuously monitor process stability and escalate to senior leadership any risks and perform oversight functions.

  • Lead Quality Assurance and training programs to support the onboarding, training, and development of AML investigators.

  • Oversee and manage partnerships across Risk, Compliance, and First Line stakeholders. 

  • Maintain knowledge of upcoming industry risks, regulatory changes, emerging risks, and trends to pivot rapidly.


What you’ll bring:   

  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in the Banking, Financial Services, Government, or Casino industry, ideally with experience in a Financial Intelligence Unit or equivalent.

  • A Bachelor's Degree is strongly preferred.

  • At least 4 years of people management experience.

  • Experience in developing and executing on sound business and AML operations strategy.

  • Knowledge of AML laws and regulations related to money laundering and terrorist financing and the ability to apply this knowledge in assessing risk.

  • Excellent communication and writing skills to operate across multiple departments and external stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Enterprise Tools; Intermediate Knowledge in SQL is preferred.

  • CAMS Designation is strongly preferred.
