Senior Director, Inclusion, Equity, and Belonging

We’re growing rapidly and are looking for an experienced professional with foundational understanding of grassroots organizational Diversity & Inclusion. As an Inclusion, Equity, and Belonging Sr. Director, you will serve as a strong and vocal champion for our efforts, including but not limited to Business Resource Groups, partnerships, community-based efforts, education and awareness, and internal communications. What you’ll do as a Senior Director, Inclusion, Equity, and Belonging: 

  • Provide collaborative leadership, facilitation, and implementation of key initiatives to advance the Inclusion, Equity, and Belonging strategy through development and implementation of these strategies including talent acquisition, employee engagement and experience, performance management, and learning and development

  • Support DraftKings’ leadership as a trusted advisor by working collaboratively with business leaders to promote and integrate known Inclusion Equity, and Belonging best practices

  • Create awareness and advancement of DraftKings’ Inclusion Equity, and Belonging strategy through thought leadership and integrated communications relating to Inclusion Equity, and Belonging data, analysis, and insights

  • Operationalize DraftKings’ Inclusion, Equity, and Belonging strategy through processes, systems, and tools to achieve scale by leading key stakeholders through the change management.

  • Build upon pre-existing Business Resource Group structures (Pride, Shades, Women) for all primary activities and programs, with oversight of corresponding governance, goals, and resources

  • Inform and support communications and events related to heritage, recognition, and social issues for employees and the customers we serve

  • Support Learning and Development and Talent Acquisition teams in relation to opportunity generation and professional career navigation for underrepresented talent at DraftKings

  • Continuously improve upon internal offerings and resources including on-demand learning and resource libraries, live education and awareness programs, event marketing, and advertising

  • Support the ideation, strategic planning, proposal process, and implementation of new social impact initiatives and community partnerships

What you'll bring:

  • 10+ years professional experience in Diversity and Inclusion or a closely related field

  • Strong leadership and people management skills

  • Strong project management and event execution skills, with proven ability to meet or exceed deadline expectations

  • Self-motivated to take initiative, be proactive, and follow through

  • Strong communications and presentation (written and verbal) skills

  • Extraordinary attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple responsibilities at one time
