Senior Data Center Operations Engineer

As a member of our Data Center Operations Team, you will install, deploy, automate processes and maintain our server, VMware, and cloud infrastructure. You will create Self-Service Jenkins Tasks, design and implement automation to increase stability and reduce delivery times. Working in a demanding, innovative, and fast-growing company - you will need exceptional technical expertise, be with high initiative and strong interpersonal skills, always aim to improve.

What you’ll do as a Senior Data Center Operations Engineer:

  • Design, build, install and configure servers, ESXI’s, and storage in our on-prem environments;

  • Design, build and monitor our AWS and GCP environments;

  • Automate processes to increase stability and reduce delivery times;

  • Respond to Support and NOC escalation requests;

  • Work with clients and troubleshoot day-to-day issues.;

  • Be able to function and prioritize workload and meet time-lines;

  • Monitor and maintain the integrity of servers, applications, and software components;

  • Make recommendations for improvements;

  • Analyze and isolate issues.

What you'll bring:

  • An Experienced VMware System Engineer – at least 3 years of proven and relevant professional experience;

  • Experience with VMware ESXI 6.x, 7.x installation, management, design, and implementation;

  • Problem-solving skills;

  • Experience with installation and configuration of physical servers;

  • Experience with large organizations' networks and server farms;

  • Project management and documentation capabilities;

  • Scripting capabilities (PowerShell and/or Python);

  • Experienced with NetApp storage devices (NAS/SAN) – Big Advantage;

  • Experienced with AWS and Google Cloud – Big Advantage ;

  • Experienced with Automation and Orchestration (either Jenkins/Ansible/Terraform) – An Advantage;

  • Experienced with various backup methods and products – An Advantage;

  • English Language - Full professional Proficiency.
