We’re searching for a Senior Corporate Counsel, who will be part of a growing team of legal professionals to provide best-in-class counsel. In this role, you handle periodic reports, corporate governance, and equity compensation matters for our international subsidaries.  You should have outstanding core legal skills, balanced business and legal judgment, and a commitment to the growth and success of DraftKings. If you have a passion for the law and working with a growing team, then we know you’ll love it here. What you’ll do as a Senior Corporate Counsel:

  • Support our secretarial function, including preparing materials for the board of directors and related committees and maintaining corporate resolutions, minute books, and corporate records for our international subsidiaries.

  • Assist with managing international corporate entities, including preparing subsidiary board materials and managing regulatory filings for various entities.

  • Assist internationally with administration of our Insider Trading Policy, 10b5-1 plans, related employee equity matters, and the administration of officer equity incentive plans.

  • Support Internal Audit with SOX compliance matters.

  • Support mergers and acquisitions activity and related commercial arrangements, including assisting in the drafting and negotiation of various agreements, such as non-disclosure agreements.

What you’ll bring:  

  • At least six years of legal experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial transaction agreements.

  • Juris Doctorate Degree from an accredited institution with excellent academic credentials.

  • Admission to the [Israel Bar Equivalent]

  • Ability to consider different legal perspectives and suggest practical solutions to complex problems.

  • Genuine desire to learn and adapt to an in-house legal environment in a technology-driven growth stage company.

  • Team player with a strong work ethic and dedication to producing the best-in-class legal work.

  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced work environment.

  • Outstanding written and oral skills with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Knowledge of the gaming industry and working with advertising agreements is strongly preferred.
