Procurement Specialist

As an Procurement Specialist you will work with the global procurement team to continue to achieve hardware and software standardization , you will lead various procurement projects while also trying to control spend. What You'll Do:

  • Develop, hone, and execute new and improved procurement strategies across all channels of purchasing

  • Participates in the annual IT budget preparation

  • Participates in office builds with relation to planning & procuring IT infrastructure and equipment

  • Develop procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective

  • Perform cost analysis and set appropriate benchmarks, including procurement reports

  • Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms

  • Work closely with the Corporate IT department to understand the needs of the end users to proactively purchase, not reactively purchase.

  • Review existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility, including risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements

  • Assists with developing and managing the process for asset disposition; working with IT team to ensure that all decommissioned assets are disposed of appropriately and setting life-cycle process end dates on all assets

  • Responsible for engagement with internal stakeholders including Legal, Finance, and IT

  • Create, document, and train internal teams on standard work and purchasing processes

What You'll Bring

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are a requirement for Procurement Specialists. They use these skills to determine their company’s product needs and to create constructive relationships with vendors.

  • The ability to plan, delegate and evaluate progress toward goals is necessary for managing these projects.

  • S trong problem-solving skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in BA, Finance, Economics or similar

  • English language level C1

  • 2 years of proven experience on same or similar role

  • Preferable experience with software licensing, data centers and computer hardware
