Payment Operations Manager

What you’ll do as a Payment Operations Manager:

  • Manage a large multidisciplinary Payment Operations Team focused on iGaming with an emphasis on scaling in a hyper growth company.

  • Review and analyze escalated issues, identify chargeback and risk trends and partner with third party processors to resolve issues with deposits and withdrawals.

  • Create procedures, QA guidelines and training programs to support onboarding, training and development of Chargeback Recovery Associate and Payment Support Associate.

  • Act as a point of contact for internal teams and third party payment processors on escalated issues with payments; manage relationships with vendors on payment risk management tools.

  • Work with internal teams to build processes, systems and dashboards to create efficiency, improve quality and optimize staffing needs.

  • Evaluate the competitive landscape as it relates to upcoming changes to payment processing in iGaming.

  • Work with Product and Engineering teams on documentation of procedures and internal escalation workflows to provide seamless issue management of potential outages and bugs identified at the player level. 

  • Drive ongoing continuous improvements that lead to positive change.

  • Create and Monitor Payment and Chargeback KPIs that support business growth while mitigating risk and managing regulatory requirements and maintaining internal and external compliance.

  • Interact, present and provide recommendations to leaders at all levels on escalated matters and major changes.

What skills you will use:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required

  • 5+ Years of relevant experience in iGaming preferably in a Risk, Fraud and Payment Operations environment; 3+ years in leading and managing a team.

  • Strong leadership skills – Ability to collaborate and communicate with senior management, team members and cross functional groups.

  • Data Driven – Ability to make strategic decisions supported by Data

  • Critical Thinking and Proactive Mindset.

  • Proven track record in identifying and developing talent in a multidisciplinary team.
