We’re searching for an experienced Lead Trader to head up our NFL trading team in delivering a best-in-class betting product across U.S. regulated markets. As an NFL Sports Owner, you will utilize a deep understanding of the mechanics of odds and data to provide a viable and scalable trading vision for DraftKings. Sound good to you? Join us.
What you’ll do as an NFL Sports Owner:

Work closely with the senior team and other vertical teams to establish, deliver and assess an industry-leading betting product

Understand and implement required operations processes for odds compilation, full lifecycle event trading, risk management, bet acceptance, client profiling, and reporting

Train new employees and support frequent performance management, reviews, and guidance

Analyze trading performance and build strong KPI’s to develop a culture of accountability, quality, integrity, efficiency, and effective due diligence

Manage scheduling and coordinate shift times for the NFL Trading team

Foster a collaborative way of working where knowledge, skills, and standards are shared

Work with the Data Science team to create and grow best-in-class models for our sports

Work with our product teams to build out the automated Trading Platform and UI ensuring efficient rollouts of new markets whilst providing insight and feedback

Identify opportunities and optimization to develop Trading efficiency

Support competitor benchmarking, season reviews, planning, and forecasting ahead
What you’ll bring:

5+ years of Sportsbook experience with strong people management skills leading a team

A Bachelors Degree with a Mathematical focus and a thorough understanding of bookmaking theory and sports betting

High level of integrity with an understanding of compliance and responsible gaming best practices

Strong data & analytical skills with a deep knowledge of and passion for sports betting.

Ability to multi-task and effectively respond to constantly changing needs and schedules in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication skills with an ability to simplify all facets of Trading to senior teams

A detail-oriented team player with effective problem-solving and decision-making skills, able to work individually and collaboratively

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $70,080.00 - $105,120.00, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
