Manager, Sportsbook VIP Strategy

We’re searching for a Manager, Sportsbook VIP Revenue to join our Online Sportsbook (OSB) team. This person will manage the execution and pulse reporting on our overall business performance related to business and industry growth, internal and external metrics, competitive activity, regulatory operations, and more. What you’ll do as a Manager, Sportsbook VIP Revenue:

  • Provide data driven insights and recommendations in support of OSB marketing strategies driving gaming revenue from high value players.

  • Lead strategic planning initiatives and inform best practices.

  • Define overall promotional strategy for states and regions as part of overarching national sportsbook reinvestment plans.

  • Performance management and accountability for sporting codes and relevant states of operation.

  • Responsible for prioritization of on-site content across promotions, markets, and campaigns.

  • Monitor competitive activity in applicable states.

  • Identify opportunities for investment incrementality and optimization.

  • Partner with analytics on performance recaps of promotions/activity within relevant states and sporting codes.

  • Execute state-specific investment strategy in conjunction with CPM, CRM, and Promotions.

  • Support and collaborate with other parts of the business such as operations, VIP, PR & social, and finance.

  • Act as an escalation point for simple queries that are unable to be resolved by junior team members.

  • Grow into a responsibility of collaborating, defining, and delivering sportsbook strategic initiatives.

What you’ll bring:     

  • 3+ years of Sportsbook experience or experience in a similar industry.

  • Demonstrated experience driving strategic decisions that resulted in positive impact on business units. 

  • Extensive analytical skills and experience generating insights from campaign results and using these to inform future plans.

  • Strong SQL skills, and proven experience with analytics tools and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Google Data Studio)

  • Previous experience leading a team would be beneficial

  • Customer-focused view and a strong understanding of what the high-value Sportsbook customer wants.

  • Ability to successfully manage customer relationships.

  • Work independently as part of a fast-growing team.

  • Data-driven and strategic mindset with a deep understanding of the Sportsbook industry.

  • Preferably a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
