Lead Software Engineer (PaaS unit)

Shape a rapidly scaling industry. 

You will be working in large US oriented company that put as a priority: security, performance and stability. Candidate will be improving and supporting high-loaded system with 10+ prod environments(cloud, on-prem). We are using cutting edge technologies and building adaptation process for rest of company. Whole system around 1000+ unique services are deployed in GitOps manner. Company now is transition period from VMs(Windows) to k8s (Linux) 70% services are moved, so we have huge backlog about k8s and docker. What you’ll do as a Senior Lead Software Engineer:

  • Development of new product based on existing platform;

  • Function as a technical leader, guide team members and contribute to their development;

  • Lead, monitor and control the entire software development flow - requirements gathering, planning, architectural design, implementation, testing and deployment;

  • Take responsibility on code quality and on time completion of the tasks;

  •  Apply quality standards and team working procedures;

  •  Initiate improvements and determine development methodology;

  • Work closely with business owners and project managers to plan work and provide statuses;

  • Support existing and write new technical documentation ​

 

What you’ll bring: 

  • 5+ years of working experience C#, experience with F# will be a plus

  • Experience and desire to write testable code (C#)

  • Knowledge and experience in using Object Oriented analysis and design principles and Functional design principles

  • Understanding of microservice architecture, understanding REST

  • Knowledge and experience with docker and Kubernetes will be a plus

  • Knowledge and experience with next libraries will be a plus:
    Hashicorp Consul, Hashicorp Vault, Apache Kafka, OpenTelemetry, Serilog, AppMetrics

  • Solid debugging and troubleshooting skills, preferable knowledge and experience in performance testing and memory profiling

  • BS or MS degree in computer science/informatics or equivalent

  • Upper-intermediate level in English

  • Proactive approach
