Lead Analyst, iGaming Product Analytics

We are looking for a Lead Analyst to help us scale quickly through data-driven action in our DraftKings brands. In this role, you’ll focus on driving continued growth and innovation within our iGaming portfolio including: the DraftKings Online Casino, our proprietary DraftKings Game Studio, our acquisition of the Golden Nugget Online Casino, Live Dealer functionality and multiple new products & features in development.  We are looking for a passionate analytics lead with strong analytical acumen, hands-on technical skills, and a thirst to use data to improve operational efficiency.  If you know how to think creatively and analytically to help solve challenges and create high-quality deliverables, you will make a great addition to our team.  Sound good to you? What you'll do as a Lead Analyst, iGaming Product Analytics:

  • Articulate complex analytical information to a variety of audiences, craft data stories, create high quality presentations and provide recommendations.

  • Own core product analytics infrastructure, including product health, user journey tracking, KPIs and reporting.

  • Proactively identify growth opportunities across the casino business and provide insights that will help improve product performance and customer experience.

  • Develop a strong understanding of how customers behave to identify areas of growth and improvement for our iGaming native app, iGaming & Sportsbook combined app, tablet and desktop platforms.

  • Collaborate with our Product Team to develop strategic enhancements to our iGaming products and games (e.g., blackjack, slots, live dealer, etc.).

  • Build Tableau dashboards to monitor product health, players engagement, identify anomalies and perform regular data quality audits.

  • Assist junior analysts in structuring and executing analytics projects.

What you'll bring:     

  • Ideally, you have 4+ years of business analytics or data science experience.

  • Expertise in SQL/Snowflake and Microsoft Excel.

  • Experience with R, Python, or statistical programming languages is a plus.

  • Familiar with data visualization tools such as Tableau.

  • Experienced in applying statistical analysis for A/B and multivariate testing.

  • Comfortable presenting complicated data views to cross-functional audiences and leadership.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Analytics or a related field. Master’s degree is preferred.

This position can sit in Boston or Remote; however, this work is to be performed entirely outside of Colorado.
