Growth Marketing Manager, Paid Social

The strategy behind the game. 

DraftKings is looking for a self-starter with a strong background in marketing across App, Mobile Web, and Desktop inventory. You will be an integral part of the Paid Social marketing team, and will take a leadership role in promoting DraftKings products.  You will be an end-to-end marketer — both planning and executing campaigns across multiple sports and products to meet quarterly goals.

 What you’ll do as the Growth Marketing Manager:

  • Owning user acquisition for DraftKings product(s) on Paid Social channels. Driving the marketing strategy - including the media plan, promotions & creative strategy, spend forecasting, test & learn agenda.

  • Dictating upper funnel tactics to maximize brand awareness during key sport moments - including defining metrics of success, best creatives & campaigns to drive impactful reach.

  • Monitoring & executing against DraftKings’ impression share across Paid Social channels to ensure we own eyeballs during tentpole sports moments among our peer set.

  • Managing media buys (hands-on-keyboard) to efficiently drive towards acquisition & awareness KPIs

  • Collaborating internally with cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class marketing execution (Integrated Marketing, Creative, Product Ops, Analytics, etc)

  • Serving as a digital marketing expert - having a close ear to changes/innovations in the marketing landscape to ensure success over the long term.

  • Serving as an industry expert - having a pulse on what competitors are executing on Paid Social channels.

  • Taking a leadership role as the team expands - motivating a growing team with emotional intelligence and grit.

  • Provide thought leadership and guidance on long term vision, cross-platform strategies and measurement approach to scale the channel for success

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree required—ideally in a quantitative field.

  • 5+ years of experience in performance marketing, with ad buying experience in the Paid Social channels (Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter, Reddit, TikTok) across different marketing objectives

  • 1+ year of experience as a people manager.

  • Experience in advancing media buying tactics as the ad technology develops.

  • Strong understanding of mobile and web attribution.

  • Familiarity conducting analysis on acquisition and ad buying to deliver ROI—including A/B testing.

  • Analytically minded, strong attention to detail and the ability to identify trends within data sets

  • Deep marketing acumen - understanding creative/messaging, campaign types to best deliver both brand awareness & new user acquisition

  • Up-to-date with the latest trends, market-leading tooling, mobile measurement platforms, and best practices mobile performance marketing.

  • Proven ability to deliver complex, long-term strategic project work while balancing day-to-day responsibilities

  • Thrives working in a fast paced environment
