Engineering Software Procurement Analyst

The Vendor Management team builds and maintains supplier relationships as related to business planning, financial forecasting and analysis. This role will require cross-functional coordination throughout the organization, including Finance, Legal, IT, Engineering and Product. As an Engineering Software Procurement Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining the vendor database, tracking contract details and renewal dates, and communicating with stakeholders and suppliers. What you’ll do as an Engineering Software Procurement Analyst:

  • Conduct research to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of value, delivery schedules and quality

  • Engage with senior stakeholders internally and externally and autonomously handle ad-hoc requests from the business

  • Act as internal gatekeeper to consolidate service requirements, help standardize service renewal contracts,  and engage suppliers

  • Monitor KPI performance related to vendor spend while understanding the sources of deviation

  • Build thoughtful analyses to drive better decisions and measure the efficacy of various initiatives

  • Optimize KPI tracking of SRE vendors monthly, quarterly, annual forecasting processes and reporting

  • Evaluate and approve conditions for issuing and awarding bids

  • Resolve grievances with vendors, contractors, and suppliers

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Finance, or other quantitative field

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience with NetSuite is a plus!

  • Experience in IT procurement (SaaS licensing, Cloud infrastructure, network equipment) 

  • Knowledge and experience in commercial negotiations, reviewing contracts, and invoicing. Experience with budget management is a plus!

  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to self-start & direct work in an unstructured environment

  • Well organized and strong attention to detail, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results in a fast-paced environment

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $66,400.00 - $99,600.00, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
