Director, Marketplace Marketing Operations

We are seeking a dynamic and highly analytical Director, Marketplace Marketing Operations who will own go-to market strategies for key initiatives.  In this role, you will work collaboratively with Operations, Channel Marketing, and Product teams to develop strategies for multiple initiatives on the Marketplace. You will work cross functionally to ensure successful plans and milestones are achieved to effectively bring initiatives to market.  Additionally, you will own site merchandising and A/B testing strategy to improve user engagement and marketing effectiveness.  You will play a key role in supporting a new vertical and will have the opportunity to significantly impact the business as it rapidly scales.  Sound good to you?  Join us.

What you’ll do as Director, Marketing Operations:

  • Responsible for developing and managing go-to market strategy and promotions for all Marketplace initiatives, including new product launches and internal and external content

  • Manage team responsible for site merchandising, as well as A/B testing strategy to optimize a growing vertical

  • Collaborate cross functionally to influence and successfully execute strategies 

  • Work closely with the analytics team to support ongoing setup of tests, analysis, review, and optimization of our site merchandising and marketing promotions for the Marketplace.

  • Become an expert using our internal marketing and bonus tools;  always looking to optimize processes and enable flawless execution

  • Uncover meaningful insights from competitor research, business data, and other sources and recommend course changes and new ideas that improve business performance.

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field.

  • At least 5 years of experience in Digital Marketing, Product Management, Product Marketing, or Marketing Operations.

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, including polish, poise, and executive presence to ensure effective interaction with senior and executive-level audiences.

  • Strong project management capabilities with the ability to be highly detail-oriented and organized.

  • A data-driven and analytical mindset with a strong understanding of key marketing metrics, the ability to recognize how they impact the business and translate those insights into achievable action.

  • Strong ability to collaborate and influence your internal peers and external business partners to drive change and innovation.

  • Knowledge in channels such as CRM, Social, and Influencer are a plus.

  • Experience with ecommerce marketing/product, and Web3 preferred.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $150,400.00 - $225,600.00, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
