Associate Consumer Product Marketing Manager, Marketplace

We’re growing rapidly and are searching for an Associate Consumer Product Marketing Manager, to help develop and support the ongoing go-to-market strategy for major new product launches. This role will support critical moments at DraftKings by setting objectives, building integrated marketing campaigns, mobilizing stakeholders across Marketing, Brand, PR, and Operations, and executing across all stages of the marketing funnel in a manner that attracts and engages prospects and customers while exceeding business goals.

What you’ll do as a Specialist, Consumer Product Marketing:

  • Cross-Functional Leadership : Drive cross-functional execution and GTM strategy for assigned launches within new product verticals, ensuring partners across the business have the context, tools and direction necessary to execute and amplify campaign objectives. Your focus will be delivering a cohesive consumer journey for upcoming product launches.

  • New Vertical Process Design : Support the design, iteration, management, and communication of GTM planning workflows for new product verticals.

  • Offering Development : Utilizing a deep understanding of the target consumer, develop offerings and positioning statements for each assigned launch that achieves intended campaign objectives.

  • Creative Briefs : Institute ever-increasing standards of excellence writing creative briefs for assigned launches that direct internal creative teams to bring business intent to life via marketing creative. This includes designing message tests & learnings agendas for assigned launches.

  • Consumer Insights : Act as a key partner for Product Operations and Consumer Insights, generating and translating customer, market and competitive insights into activation strategies for new product verticals.

  • Learner’s Mindset : Synthesize launch performance results into compelling insights to drive continuous improvement through dotted line management of dedicated analytics team. You have the technical know-how to be able to communicate to analyst teams desired evaluations in order to optimize & evolve future marketing planning.

What you'll bring:

  • Approximately 4+ years of relevant experience, with particular focus on launching new enterprise ventures and/or new consumer technologies.

  • Considers themselves an early adopter on the frontlines of new technologies, digital products, and services across the consumer spectrum.

  • Servant leader who actively seeks out ways to elevate others and thrives in a matrixed, entrepreneurial environment

  • Strategic marketer who can lead and influence through both creative and analytical exercises. Experience required building out campaigns for new product launches across channels grounded in data & consumer insights.

  • Very strong project management skills

  • Positive, inclusive and collaborative partner and teammate; with a high level of initiative and ability to coordinate efforts across diverse functional groups.

  • Open-minded problem-solving capability and skilled at handling whitespace work. Enjoys and even prefers working on highly ambiguous projects.

  • Strong storyteller with the skills to communicate highly complex ideas in a compelling, digestible manner.

  • Obsessive about prospect and customer journeys and understanding the needs and behaviors that influence those journeys

  • Loves to think big and bold, and also enjoys “rolling up your sleeves” to get hands-on with your team and work

  • Regularly and systematically use data to uncover opportunities, track content and promotion performance, and drive decision making
