The strategy behind the game.
We are looking for a high performing, innovative and creative Human Resources Business Partner to collaborate with the Talent Management team and members of our Senior leadership team. This role will help the business evolve the working methods and organizational structure at DraftKings. You will work cross functionally with our People team in support of our employees.

What you’ll do as an Human Resources Business Partner:

  • You will build the strategic partner relationship with all levels of management and employees in the organizations that you support
  • Understand our business strategy, vision, goals, challenges and opportunities. You’ll anticipate, evaluate and help the business address organizational issues and growth-related challenges
  • Handle all Employee Relations initiatives within the teams you support including performance management and investigations
  • You will drive the execution of all components of the employee lifecycle in partnership with our Learning and Development team
  • Identify needs across the organization and in partnership with our Learning and Development team, implement short and long-term initiatives that aid in developing our employees and optimize for their success
  • Identify high potential employees and advise leaders on strategies and initiatives to ensure their retention and growth (including growth and development plans, enablement programs, organizational change, and employee communications)
  • Provide consultation and strategic counsel to leadership on Organizational Design and structure to optimize business outcomes
  • You will partner with our Talent Acquisition team to support the hiring of top talent while working together to ensure an exceptional on-boarding experience and new hire effectiveness
  • Leverage data to support program designs and prioritization of people related initiatives
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance

What skills you will use:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor Degree is required. An Advanced Degree is preferred
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience supporting senior executive leaders is required
  • Experience working within a Global is required, while experience in a fast-paced environment strongly preferred
  • You have a combination of experience and vision to be an instrumental part of growing a world class people function in a high growth Global technology company
  • You are will be required to possesses a deep level of empathy and compassion and understands how to motivate talent
  • Experience working through change is required
  • The desire to promote innovative ideas and challenge the norms of traditional HR is required
